Default 944 Turbo boosting and idle problem

I'm having a annoying issue with the 951. When the car goes into boost and if I release the throttle suddenly the car tends to jerk and come off boost not very smoothly. Also, when I'm coasting and off the throttle the car tends to jerk ever so slightly as if someone is going on and off the throttle very lightly. When the car is at idle and warm on some occasions the idle tends to creep up to around 1200 RPM and stay there. Is this likely a problem with a faulty throttle switch or do I also have a turbocharging problem with the wastegate?

yeah that was my first thought as well! the rubber centre breaking up. The high idle may well be a seperate unrelated issue.
