I wonder how big his garage has to be to fit that rear spoiler in. <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />

Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't that a fairly faithful reproduction of a 935 from the early/mid seventies?
Admittedly a bit garish for the street, but on the track all that stuff had a purpose.
That said, I would feel the need to get some gold chains and a bad rug to drive that thing around. As a former girlfriend once told me, commenting on color choices for hig perfromance automoiles: "Nothing says 'I've got a little d*ck' like a red sports car"...
(No offense to owners of red cars...)

nothing out of the norm there.

Some of you guys are way off base here. I want each of you to dig out your Porsche heritage (you know, the stuff you put away when the Chili Pepper was introduced) and give me a report on 70's era IMSA machines. You'll find that's one fine looking street version of a 935. Now, having said that - it's the last Porsche race car I'd duplicate for street use - but it looks to be a pretty faithful reproduction. I'd prefer to go with a Carrera RS repo, or maybe an IROC 911. But to each his own.

Yep, that is a fairly good 935 Replica, have a look for yourself.

They were 600 hp beasts and I don't think that can be called rice by any steatch of the imagination. For a street car it is a bit over the top, but at least it has some basis in porsche racing history.

For strictly street 911, and some track, I'd go for the Carrera RS. The 935 attracts waaay too much attention from Barney Fife (like any Porsche wouldn't?). Both are sweet rides though.
