Do any of you know what size driver that holds?
Or if the box was actually designed for that rockford fosgate driver?
There's more to fitting a sub than size.

If it's an accoustic match, I might have to get one.

Also, anybody know where to get speakers that fit in front doors?

it's an 8" sub.

As for the doors, they're just 4x6" speakers. You need to get ones that have the 4x6m mounting holes (most do) and they must be pretty shallow (1 & 5/8" sounds familiar). I put Infinity Kappa plates in mine & they required a little work with the dremel and still protrude by about 1/8-1/4" (not bad looking though).

I have heard the KLA box and it is nice. Might I recomend that you get two though. Bass is omnidirectional but having it all come from one corner is not the way to go.

As to the Question Ag951 brings up. No they are not the biggest, and are not 100% optimal, their advantage is that they fit a nice driver without having anything stick out. It's a nice "Stock" mount that sounds good.

Not to mention they are nice guys and we should support them.

I do support them financially, and they brace my front strut towers in return.
But if I can get a better custom box that holds a single 10" or 12" and is degined for the Q of that driver, then $360 plus two channels of amping is a bit much.
Also, where do you put the amps? I was planning putting the amp(s) in the left side and the sub in the right. If I have to have twin 8" drivers, I can't do that. Or maybe I'll take out the spare. I don't have the pump for it, and I have free towing coverage...
Hey Sid, did you actually go to sniper school? If so, I'll make sure to never **** you off at less than 2km.

No I didn't. I did work with them however.

As to the 2 Km your safe from me.

But under 500 yds you don't stand a chance (9 out of 10 regular like in a head and shoulders target)

As I've said before.

Me and the local police have an understanding. I have them out gunned, and they have me outmanned.

2 8" speakers are really small, but the concept is really nice.i might just custom the rear and remove the spare.i wanna fit a 12" Kicker L7(the big square)it'll match the turbo,BOV,and loud exhaust..hehehe

Just for interest, I put a Boston Acoustics 8.5LF 'pro-grade' subwoofer in a custom made box mounted in the spare wheel well. The Boston subs only need 0.3 cu ft to work properly and really sound good. The subs arent cheap and its quite small but it sounds much bigger and is plenty in the boot of a 944 where the boot and cabin arent separated, IMO anyway!

Fitted Directed Studio 3045 4" component speaker on an MDF baffle up front. The baffle is the same size of the 4x6 grille with a 4" cutout covered in acoustic cloth. Tweets mounted above window switches. The Directed comps use neodymium (sp?) magnets which mean they are shallow and lightweight.

Just what I did...
