met some listers (Indiana) w/ pics
Met up with Micah and his girlfriend Leslie (944n/a), Matt Ritenour (944S), and Jerad (looking for a replacement 944..or is it a 951 now? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> ) in Bloomington on Saturday. What a bunch of great guys with sweet cars! Matt's S pulled up and has this terrific engine sound (never heard an S before) and its about as close to perfect as you can find these days. Then Micah pulls up in his Garnet Red 944 (great color-never seen in person before I dont think) and I get jealous..they both have sport seats! lucky guys 
Drove both of them as I had never drove a non-turbo 944 before (thanks again!)
Micah's car sounds great and drives just like my car until the boost kicks in, and hes on the original clutch at 118k I think, it feels as good as my 30k miles clutch! All 3 cars had lsd and all looked very well kept and were really solid looking/feeling cars..hang on to them guys!, We just need to get Jerad in a 951 so he can become slave to the addiction of boost...I wish we would have had more time to get better pics as these are pretty bad, but you'll get the idea:

Great meeting all of you though, sorry about Sunday- I didnt even leave Bloomington until 5pm and didnt need to drive a car before that, had fun out on the town last night though See you guys again soon... <img border="0" alt="[byebye]" title="" src="graemlins/wave.gif" />

Sam those pictures are awsome. Now i also feel the need to say that Sam is being more than a little bit humble here. I had never been in or driven a 951 before and that car is FAST, and i mean SCARY FAST. His car looked great I can't wait till he gets that mean looking splitter back on there! All you 951 guys are making me jeleous now.

Your car looked and drove incredible - I can't thank you enough for letting me have the helm for a bit! For everyone else on the boards... Sam's car is most certainly scary fast. The first time he lit it in 2nd gear, I managed to get out a quick "HOLY $h*t!" A fantastic car driven by a fantastic guy The wild thing is, his mods aren't that extensive either... which speaks volumes for the level of mait. his car has received.
Jerad was bitching about how the 951 he drove today didn't have the "don't mess with me" attitude of yours Definitely a keeper, Sam! For the record, Leslie was a very good sport as well - as always <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />

i think Micah puts some kind of curse on his roomates. So far everyone who has lived with him in the past 2 years (me included) has purchased a 944. [play Twilight Zone music now]
