Awesome wheels ! Perry, between your paint job, your phenomenal engine bay, and those wheels, you are going to have an award winning concourse 951. Can't wait to see it in person someday. Very impressive !!!!!!

Thanks All!

David - I have friends in Charlotte. I am planning a trip late August. We'll grab a beer.

EDIT: And a gear or two. <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

SCHWING!!! Man, Perry.. that shot gave me WOOD! I was thinkin' the fest would be free, but now that I've got a Penthouse Pet in attendance, I'm gonna have to charge admission! Man, my car ain't parking no where near her, she'll make mine look like a TURD! Don't even BOTHER throwing me the keys, cause I ain't gonna touch it.. (except maybe late saturday night when she needs some rubbing) DOH!!!!

Perry Finally made it out into the light of day from the garage eh...? Looks awesome dude....
What say, we meet up somewhere in the middle and open a Porsche only body shop, say in eeerr Heber Springs Arkansas.....

Ski You should really consider giving the paint the allowable time to cure, wet sand and then buff it before trying the clear. IMO you'll be as pleased with the results without the negative aspects of clearcot over time, peeling, yellowing, excessive thickness, inability to make a spot repair, etc....

Wish it weren't so far a drive to the 'fest', I've got a 'test drive' coupon to redeem from Perry.....

As I mentioned in the ADMIN thread, I'm not formally asking for a count yet. I'll get 40 guys saying they'll be there and come July we'll end up with 12 cars and a 80 dozen clams. From experience, a reservation in April ain't worth much come July. It is sort of a bummer with no-shows so I don't want to get all excited about a large turnout. We'll spread the word, tell folks to schedule it, and ask for a head count late June. At that point people can make firm plans. If it helps you at all, If I was a betting man I'd say 20 cars. The last two were 11 and 13. The fact that your car will be here will probably account for a few extra, they'll be coming from KC and DC just to see her. If you want to ask for a count, feel free.. I don't mean to be negative, it's just that realistic expectations make my planning easier. I hope to get an announcement in the NOR and MOR newsletter to spread the word.

Yup.. you do. Your block in there.

Although having my own shop would be nice, we'd have to talk about the benfits. Gotta keep my pearly whites.

I hope to get my car painted within a year or so, I think i will bring a pic of yours and tell the guy to make it look like that (in black of course.) Can't wait to see it when you finish. Keep those pics coming, I know everyone is dying to see the "full frontal".
