Post replacing motor mounts without screwing up alignment

i remember someone posting or suggesting a way of doing the mounts that didn't mess with suspension stuff and it seemed like a much easier way to accomplish the job. if any of you know what i'm talking about or can reference the thread i'd appreciate the help

jack the car up by the oil pan and watch up top for anything that might get in the way....u can get the motor mounts out and in this way without removingthe crossmember. I don't know what you'll have to move if anything out of the way but on non-S cars the airbox has to be removed to get to the left mount.

On my S I did them without removing the crossmember, just put a 2x4 between the jack and oil pan
