Post One more option code question

Trust me on this one. I've searched all over this board. The internet and I can't find what I'm looking for. Hopefully I'm just mising something.
I've found an option decoder and I've got that taken care of, but I can't find a VIN decoder and a paint decoder for a '91 944. '89 is the newest I can find.

Thanks for the help!

Try Peter Morgans book "Original 924/944/968" it has a list of codes at the end of each section. Note, however, that the information does not always match information from other sources - I noticed this when researching information on my '89.

EDIT: the spacing of the alpha characters is not preserved when pasting to this forum... hopefully this is somewhat useable.

Actually that helped a lot.

With that paint decoder I now have a name for the color of my car. "Zyclam-Red Pearl Effect" I don't think I would have guessed that one.

Thanks again!
