Question 951 Cylinder Head torque specs?

Hi:

I have seen 2 recommendations for tightening the cylinder head.

One says 15 ft.lb., then 36 ft.lb., then 62 ft.lb.

The other says torque to 15 ft.lb., then turn 90 degrees, then another 90 degrees.

Which is preferable?

Standard (reused) head studs. Not raceware etc.

Cheers,
Michael
