Post Cool Porsche Keychain on Ebay...

heres the link to one of them. Keychain that looks like a Porsche Turbo Brake Rotor (spins too!)...only sold only in the Porsche museum (so he says)

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1864961564" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1864961564</a>

Pictured is the GT2 yellow one, but I bought a 911 Turbo Red one. 20 bucks buy it now, with 7 dollar shipping insured.
Cooler than my old leather/crest one...

I bought one (Red) and he is right you can only get one if you visit the Porsche Museum in Germany... So that would be an expensive key chain if you had to fly to Germany to get it.

Or you can get one that looks identical but says AutoArt on it from teh PerformanceProducts catalog for $9.95

BTW: I also have the one from the Museum/eBay, just happened to notice the one in the PP catalog.

If Im not mistaken I saw one of these (big red though) for sale at the local Porsche Dealer.(Ray Cantena). May not be exact but I think it was pretty damn close.

Hmmm... sounds like a group-buy in the making...

Anyone on that side of the pond want to help out with getting them shipped over here to the U.S.?

I'm going to the museum in November...

I don't know what they'll say if i ask to buy 50 of them. They might get a little suspicious. I can send them back as long as I don't make a profit. They have some pretty strict laws about running a business over here.

BTW- only $5, have you ever heard of anything Porsche only costing $5. I'll have to see it to believe it.

Well, that little plastic heater clip is only $1, but it could be worth a couple hundred if you didn't know about it- hell, you could probably spend $1000 trying to diagnose and fix the problem if neither you NOR your mechanic knew about it

As for misc items w/"Porsche" insignia, $5 is pretty cheap- I'd like to see that too...

That is REALLY cool though- if it is relatively cheap, please count me in... I also wonder how the rotor actually turns(?) If you look at how it's connected, I wonder what holds it in place? If it spins, it would have to be connected somewhere, and it were connected in the caliper, then it shouldn't spin- maybe the inner ring spins or something- just seems strange that it would be able to rotate- anyone?

Also, the Porsche key- it has a painted Porsche crest[/B]. Mine has a plain crest on it- just metal colored- I even bought a new one after buying the car and it was identical to my original ones. Anyone here have one in color? Do newer Porsche key crests come in color? Just curious....

Thanks,
Robby

I got my key from Paragon (I think) a while ago and it had/has a painted crest, looks just like the one in auction

My key has the silver crest too....that colored one is much nicer looking, specially with the mini-rotor attatched!

I want a key-chain too!!
