I thought infininty did the thing with the champagne glass pyramid on the dyno, and lexis did the bb thing. I could be wrong though

Thaddeus-

I wouldn't sweat the gaps as long as the distance between the edges is uniform across the car. Start to obsess if you find gaps of differing widths around your car ie. one door panel not gapped the same as the other. Manufacturing tolerances can be viewed another way. Say the gap on your car is 7mm, but the 7mm is constant the entire length of the seam. Now another car has a gap of 4mm, but along that length it varies from 4 to 4.5mm...Which would you prefer????

Cheers,

I believe it was Nissan and the steel ***** rolling in the gaps.

I have a plan, children. Now just watch the old man mess up his car and remember your manners, it's not nice to laugh at foolish old men...

Thad, I have a solution.
Drive the car.

More specifically, track the car. (autox or DE)

Great fun and all of a sudden you forget all the stupid little flaws that nobody else notices... (thats my experience anyway)...
