"Not just a McLaren F1...1/6 LM Editions in burnt Papaya Orange. "

Like this one I saw at Willow Springs last year?

My 240Z needs a paint job, maybe I'll try to match that one...

I was going to rent it for the xbox, but it was already rented out for that system, so I rented it for the PS2 instead.

Long ago, I completed the Factory Driver section. That was IMO, the most enjoyable section of the game, since it was more than just racing. LOVED the skidpad stuff!

However, I find that the game pales in comparison to really driving a Porsche, especially on the track! (But in the winter time, it helps with my 'driving addiction'!)

Anyone else that has NFS porsche ever notice that the 944 is by far the best handling car in that game? And it's not just because I own one either, it really does handle better then all the other cars. I wonder if one of the game developers had a 944. The best part about that game is that you can drive around the car that you have in real life, I have a red 88' 944 S in that game. Unless you own a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, there's few other car owners that can say that as well.

Any of you guys try the Logitech force feedback steering wheel? It's awesome and makes driving games worth playing. I have Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed as well as GT3 and I really didn't enjoy playing them until I got the steering wheel and pedals. Much better than a joystick in my opinion.

Ive always thought GT3 was the pinicle of racing games.. is NFS PO better in terms of physics? Obviously it has the cars we know and love... but if it feels "gamey" ... bah. Those of you into PC games should try these on for size:

Day of Defeat (WWII Halflife Modification) <a href="http://www.dayofdefeatmod.com" target="_blank">www.dayofdefeatmod.com</a>

Aces High (WWII Air Combat Sim)

Very true! Buying a wheel and pedals was the best decision I made It helped with the game's realism, therefore making it more fun... I even have a shifter!
