Default WTB: QTY (4) 7Jx16" Clubsports OR Cups

Wanted to purchase (or trade!): total quantity of 4 wheels. Since I know these wheels typically came in staggered sets, I'm willing to buy in pairs, but would prefer not to buy single wheels.

First Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET65 Turbo S Clubsport, 951.362.115.30

Second Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET55 Cup (narrow spoke), 944.362.114.00

Third Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET55 Cup (Design 93 Winterrad), 993.362.114.00

Condition of the finish is not terribly important, as I will almost certainly be refinishing whatever I get. What is important is that the wheels are straight, no bends in the lips, and minimal-to-no curb rash. Center caps would be nice, but are not mandatory for me to do a deal.

I do NOT want Design90s. I already have a set, they're nice, but cast alloy as opposed to forged, and they're one of the heaviest OEM wheels.

I do NOT want staggered set. This is for my 931 Club Sport project, so I MUST have wheels that will fit the narrow body design. The late offsets of the wheels listed above in 7" width will be perfect for my application. Part of the design aesthetic is to maintain the perfect balance of the 931, so matched-width wheels on all four corners is highly desirable. This approach will also allow me to rotate tires, which will be more economical in the long run. Think function over form for this application!

I just sold a staggard set of Cup wheels (your #2 preference) last night. So I am no help there, but FYI the front cup wheels are 6.5"

Good luck in your search!
Scott.

According to WheelEnhancement.com and http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php, both styles of "Cup" wheels came in 7", 8" and 9" widths. I've never seen any 16" Porsche OEM wheel in 6.5" width...

Hmm. They only list a 6, 7, 8 , and a 9" wheel. I'd have to check pics now, but when cleaning the wheels I found the markings that said 6.5, and my rears were 9. They were from a 964 and were his original wheels.
I am by far not an authority on OEM Porsche stuff, so I could very well be wrong. Just wanted to let you know in case the measurements were critical for the fitament on your car.

Cheers!
Scott.

The other thing is that those sources may not be definitive either.

But I definitely need 7Jx16 with an ET in the 52-65 range.

I've purchased a full set of 7" clubsports from a Rennlister.

I am still interested in a second set of 7" clubsports or a set of 7" C2 Cup1s.
