You should do a two-tone have black and blue interior lol.... I'm thinking of doing it to my 951 that Zerrmatt Silver and burgandy... I'm thinking of redoing the dash black, seats black, and the top part of the door panel above where the window switches black as well, or maybe the center area where the speakers mount.. duno anywho just an idea

I would just take off the dash sand it with a respectable grit like 180-220 or something, fill the cracks maybe with an adhesive then buy some german vynil in the color I want and glue that sucker down.
I don't think I would use body filler that just seems like a problem later, that's like molding in fiberglass panels with body filler and no adhesive for the fiberglass to bare metal... cracks down the road after a few years.

Ha, Cole, you may laugh but I would actually like something sort of similar to cover over my fiberglass race dash as it's not the nicest looking item. Does it come in a can, lol.

Also to the O.P. there is an outfit that provides new leather for your old dash and from what I've seen first hand, it's very good. I would think you have to pull your dash out, but I'm not 100% sure on that. They were relatively cheap too.

Actually. Look up "flocking". It is what many rally cars do to the dash. (look inside your glove box, it's flocked). You can buy all the materials and flocking gun for about $50ish. I have heard it is very simple to do. Basically spray on the glue then the fibers. It would be perfect for a fiberglass race dash. Fwiw the blue dash above looks to be flocked.

I just googled flocked dash and found a black one.
