Ribs-
I highly recommend Joe from European Coach Werks in Delaware. I had some work done there when I lived in OC over the summer. Not the cheapest but a good job and worth it. I have his number in my car and if you want it Ill post it sometime tomorrow. Hes right down route 54 about 5 miles.

Danno, LOL, good one, I'm in high quality machine shop all the time and I've never heard of welding aluminium to another type metal.
That being said I don't get to Italy much, but I'd sure like to spy in on the Ferrari F-1 shop.

Oh yea and unless RIBs want to fly in a welder from Fiorono, I'd say Tim's right in saying, it can't be done, damn sure not for the $70 Ribs quoted...

Hey Tim, evr weld on a coke can.....

Cheers

Thanks a ton guys! I investigated this issue further, and had the owner of evolution motorsports (the local tuner shop...they weren't dead, just stuck in west virginia because of the 931 that exploded...long long story, but they have 4 new custom JE pistons on the way for that car) come and take a look at my car, and discussed with him my options short of removing the pan.

I'll post my findings in a new thread...be on the look out.
