Default help identify this hose near fuel filter

Howdy Folks. Needing some help identifying a hose near my fuel filter. I'm sorry for the shoddy pictures (phone camera and flashlight) but i hope they do justice.

The hose in question is the one with the like cloth sleeve around it, the smaller of the three. As you can see, its in really bad shape. I'm trying to figure out what it is for. I doesn't seem to be leaking anything. I started the car and ran it for a while and watched under there and no leaks. I also reved the engine for a while to create some real fuel flow and still no leaks.

water drain maybe? a lot of rust down there around it.

looks like it might be one of the emissions gas lines, I don't know much about that system, but I believe there is a gas line that goes from the carbon canister back to the gas tank. is it leaking anything there?

Yup, part of the evaporative emissions system. Just cut and splice a new section of emission rated hose into it.

it didn't leak during my little test, but its cracked and brittle, it would leak if it were to get used. i was under there trying to deiced how old my fuel filter was. I couldn't tell but since i don't know it's now on my todo list and i will probably change/repair those hoses near it as well since the ends are all rusted.
