I seem to find it very difficult to get this off. I'm sure its original, but there is almost no room back there. I have a stock transmission cooling loop. It take up most of the room. Is there something I am missing to do here?

No doubt it's really tight, but with some contorting and a lot of patience, it can be done.

Yea. I had my CV axles off at the time and it was still a pain.
Was bolted on very tight.
