FS: 16" 7 x 8 Fuchs
I sold my car...the buyer chose my other wheels, so I am now selling by Fuchs.
Came off my 1986 944 Turbo - Early Offset. Were removed with 37K miles.
16" 7 x 8
I will post more pics later.
Price: $1200 + Shipping
They are in pretty good condition.

Let the older 911 guys know ('69-89, with rear flares) as the 8's used to be prized wheels since they can be used in front or in back. Some folks even fit the 8's into the rear of the older "narrow body" 911s from '69-77.

Yes they should fit. I've personally seen 951 Fuchs 7's and 8's on a 79 911SC. The 86 Carrera isn't any different in regards to flares/offset so it should be fine.

They will absolutely fit as I ran this set up on my SC.
Of note.. the 951 7" and 8" wheels will actually "look" like your current 6/7" combo. Why? because the "dish" part of the rim is the same. The 911 7,8 and 9's have a larger "dish" and therefore may look better overall and fill the fenders a bit better.
The 951 8" wheel have a 23mm offset. The 911 7" wheel has a 23mm offset, so what this tells us is that the additional 1" of width is "too the inside" of the car, not the outside towards the fender lip.
The 911 8" has a 10mm offset.. so its width is "too the outside".
While the 951 7" and the 911 7" have the same 23mm offset, the mounting surface on the 951 wheel is different (to accomodate the larger brake rotor of the 951 vs the regular 911)
