Arrow Plasti-Dip dash solution? Any good?

Has anyone seen/heard of this stuff yet. Supposedly you take vinyl off the dash and apply this plasti-dip crap to it, then paint on top of it. It's only like $40 so it could be good, if it actually works. What do you people think? Ever heard of it? Anyone tried it or something similar? Please any input will be appreciated.
I saw it on
<a href="http://www.9xauto.com" target="_blank">www.9xauto.com </a> under dashboard re-facing solution.

I've not heard of it before. Here are some alternatives:

Brett -Sorry man, there was a typo in the web address. <img border="0" alt="[nono]" title="" src="graemlins/nono.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Here is a working link;

If no one has attempted this, I'd like to offer up my dash as a guinea-pig. It's pretty messed up and I'm almost done with the rear wheel bearings, so this would make a great next project.

What about using just carbon fiber similar to this:

Looks like a regular airbag dash coverd with carbon fiber on top and bottom parts.

I would be sorta scared to try that stuff from 9xauto.com. I have not really heard too many good things about them and also there are no pictures of it actually done to a real car... make me worry.

I've played with plasti-dip for other stuff before, but I would be very interested in seeing photos of a plasti-dip dash.

To do the job right with this plastic dip stuff, you would think the dash would have to be removed.
