Post fuel filter

i,m a novice at repairing my porsche and had a couple of questions re: replacing the fuel filter.... Where is it located? I assume it is underneath on the back right side by the fuel tank?
What is the best location to jack up the car to replace this filter.

thanks

Question #1 Yes

Question #2 Look for a diamond in the middle of the runner under the door. Feel behind it and you will find a plate to put the jack on. Put the jack stands under the bananna bars in front of the rear wheels.

Be prepraired to be patient with the filter, it can be a bear to get loose.

The fuel filter can be a real bear. Stick your head right behind the pass side rear wheel and look waay up. Soak both ends of the filter and the banjo bolt liberally with a penetrant for a few days before starting. The old hardware can (and probably is) corroded and the banjo bolt is notorius for breaking.
Hopefully you're lucky and it has been changed fairly recently.
Good Luck! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
