You guys know if it's possible to remove hazing from glass with anything? Like glass that's been "stone washed"?

Keith:

Steel wool should work as long as you stay clear of the defroster strips.

You can get #0000 steel wool at any hardware or paint shop but I wouldn't want to use it as it will scratch glass. Brass or bronze wool would be softer and less likely to scratch.

I think I would just use a fine 3M dish washing pad which you can get at any grocery store. The fine ones that are safe for most jobs are colored blue.

I would use toothpaste on a rag. It has real fine abrasives and as long as you do not scrub too hard it will not hurt the glass.

No no no! No steel wool on glass or brakekleen on paint.

Overspray on glass:

1. Saturate with windex.
2. With a NEW razor blade fitted in a scraper, lightly run it over the oversprayed area.
3. Scrub with NEWSPAPER.
4. If paint is still on glass, go over it again. Denatured alcohol also works on glass, but do not get it on anodized parts.
