"This one had a fun start, I car started 6th behind Foxx, managed to bump draft and help him forward a bit. Ended up 6th though anyway after the start. One little mistake on lap 2 and I was back to 7th, Then a bigger mistake later on and the finishing position was not impressive. Don't make mistakes!" - Camera Car Driver

Love the video. How many contact write ups did you guys have? Looked like quite a few bump drafts going on and boy were you all on those curbs : ) Look'd like a lot of fun.

For that race? None! No body panels were damged in making this video. One windshied got a major roack chip and I am sure some cars got sand blased, but hey. This was only 1 of 3 races that weekend. We had no major contact and may be 2-3 taps (bumper to bumper) or barely noticeable contact among all 34 cars. There might have been 1 incident report filled out and I doubt it even was considered damge by the NASA rules. I believe a report was filled out due to it causing a change in position which was corrected post race.

The racing was very close, but we don't lean on each other. Remember also this was 34 racers in identical cars racing for the championship. Lots of talent deep in the field and lots of close racing.

I think the Spec Miata who had 36-40 cars had one or two wrecked (needing a tow) per race.


Going on the main straight I stayed off that outside rumble strip. Way too much bouncing and I think it slowed you down. In the Attitides (downhill left right left chicane we all used as much curb as we could as those were smooth and made you faster.
