Question Rear defroster wire gauge

Hey guys, does anyone know what gauge wire is used for the small wire from the hatch shocks to the defroster? I haven't been able to find out what kind of power is going through the wire and I don't want to risk melting it. The wire from the passenger side shock is completely missing, so I need to replace it for the defroster to work. Thanks for your help!

The wire going from the relay to the rear shock is heavy; 4.0 sq. mm, which corresponds to 11 gauge. For the short run from the shock to the defroster 12 gauge should do, 10 gauge to be conservative. Fuse is 30 amp.
