Default Dissected my window switch

...and now I can't get it back together. Windows aren't working well so I'm cleaning the switches and trying to reassemble, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the ball bearings in place while keeping the rocker pieces in the right grooves to get the switch to toggle.

If you're familiar with this, it looks like the Clark's Garage picture, below.

How do you get the whole thing back together, correctly?

Thanks.

My memory is a bit fuzzy but I think I put the arms in the switch, with the switch upside down, used a tiny bit of grease on the ball bearings and then put the white pin assembly in from above.

I would leave that section lieing the way you have it. Put the two rockers back in and snap the top back on. I would also suggest lightly sanding the contacts as to make a better connection.

Been there, done that - last week.

- Leave the bottom part on the table
- Put the rockers in as you have them
- Put the ball in the middle of the rocker with a dab of grease
- While holding the top piece, hold the switch part in the middle position
- Lower top onto bottom, snapping into place (the trick is lining up the spring-loaded tube onto the ball(s)

Repeat as needed up to 10 times. . . Then throw switch at the wall.

Hope thus helps. . .

Yes but will he have to pay extra for the requisite cussing and swearing?

Travis,

You mean you have the switches personally? or they are listed on Rennbay.com? I just checked Rennbay and there was nothing.

Ok, no bat line necessary. I added them to the online catalog with the $17 price tag until the end of the week. I have early ones as well (along with just about everything else), so if you need those just call.
