85 944 auto
I found a 85 944 automatic with 20K miles for sale. What do you guys think it is worth? I would have preferred a 5 speed. How reliable is the 3 speed auto?

Since its an early car, it might have rolled over and it could be 120000 miles ...... If its 20K original miles, could be worth a little sonething.
I have an automatic, and I like it. The automatic flex disc is a concern as it could fail at any moment and is not cheap to fix; worst then a clutch job. Other then that, it makes for a smooth cruise and easier to drive in the city traffic.
Automatics are less desirable because well, they are automatics. I myself would get a 5 speed. I have the automatic cause its been with us since the mid 90s so its part of the family. In all its automatic glory.
