Cool Mazda Rev It Up in Houston

What a great time. I would recomend this event to anyone just get there early as the lines for the driving clinics are LONG. On the web site they talk about the "pro driver instruction" which is more like instructions on how to properly complete the clinic as opposed to "instruction". But for $40 it is a chance to spend the day flogging someone else's car. The brake and turn clinic was cool, they tell you that you should feel the ABS which feels "wrong" when you are used to being in control. The slalom clinic was a good refresher for someone who hasnt auto-xed in 9 years.

Results as of 2:00 pm Sat 1st in "club" 6th overall! Not too bad for no competion driving in 9 years. IMHO
