Default Used alternators...

What does one do with these things when they test bad? Chuck them, use them for cores, rebuild them?

If you know how you can rebuild them with an alternator repair kit. new brushes and springs, etc. You might find some at Napa

Brushes, regulator and new bearings. That's pretty much all a rebuild is...

Just replaced my original (125k miles) alternator. The core was worth $50 to the alternator shop.
