Post Yellow shocks equal??????

86' 951

Red/Orange are supposed to be Koni and should only be replaced by Koni (according to Performance). Mine look to be yellow. What does this tell me? I can't make out any labels on them.

They really need replacement. That'll be my next task after the SS brake line, re-paint of calipers, speedbleeder and fluid flush tommorrow.

This is going off hazy memory, but I think they're Bilsteins...Bilsteins make three sets of shocks, white = soft, yellow = stiff, green = track stiff.

Hopefully someone else will confirm or deny...I've got a pair of yellow Bilsteins, I can take a picture if it ends up being very necessary.

Yellow = koni or bilstein.

My front's are yellow konis...rears are yellow bilsteins.

Others know more...koni yellows are the shock of choice among most people. (doesn't mean its the best)

You might even have Bilstein inserts inside yellow Koni strut housing...

Danno, maybe if Bilstein makes an externally adjustable insert...
