Default FS: 1986 944 Turbo, 39K miles, Sunroof Delete, 5 speed, LSD, 16" Fuchs - $13,500

Here are the details:

2nd Owner. Lived all it's life in Portland, Maine until I purchased. Never seen snow or rain according to the previous owner. Non smoker. Clean carfax. Original miles.

I would rate the car a 9 out of 10 for the interior and exterior. I am giving it a 9 simply because of its age. The driver seat bolster has normal wear, but no tears. The exterior is nice and smooth. The dash is perfect, no cracks and no sunroof (another rare feature).

Charcoal Metallic - Code: LB7V
Tan Interior - very clean
Sport Seat with Power
38,880 original miles
NO CRACKS IN DASH
SUNROOF DELETE
LSD - M220

Water Pump done at 28K miles

All of the following was done in the last 1000 miles and receipts for everything (almost $7000 worth):
Timing Belt/Balance Belt/Cam Belt
Alpine CD Player
Vitesse 26/6
Bosch 3 Bar FPR
Accuboost
New Hood Liner with Porsche Graphic (928 Leather)
New Koni Yellows all around
SS Brake Line
Clear Plugged Up Clutch Slave Valve & Bleed
New Hood and Rear Hatch Shocks
Center Console Insert
Under Radio Compartment
New Hoses and Clamps Everywhere
Replaced Motor Mounts with NEW OEM 951 Mounts
New Front Rotors
New Front Brake Pads
New Fuels Lines, Hose and Fire Sleeves
Oil Change and Filter
Alignment
Tire Balance

Update on the Wheels. Looks like the CCW's will be sold, so the car will have the 16" 7x8 Fuchs. This will be nice for the person wants the original "period" look and feel.

Price: $13,500

If you have any questions, please e-mail me: binoyshah@mac.com. Car is located in Chicago, IL.

holy crap. If I could afford it, I would buy it instantly. This is pretty much the 951 I dream about. Good luck with the sale, I'm sure it will find a great home.

That's a museum piece. Surely will be appreciating in value over the next few years.
Like Elzergone said - its the stuff of legends.

It's a beautiful car and it'll be interesting to see what price you get. IMHO, I think $16k is going to be very hard to get but I hope you're right.

Wow, that car is so beautiful it makes me ache! Those wheels are stunning, much nicer than the Fuchs in my opinion.

Good luck with the sale, and I hope there are still cars like this around when I have the money to buy one!

Very nice car. It exactly what I would like, but don't have the cash for that. GLWS.
