Post My newly anodised intake manifold

Well, my intake manifold is back anodised. I decided on a red color.
I new the finish would come out interesting since the part had suck a rough finish to it originally.
The result is kind of an iridescent appearance.
From different angles its blue-ish/ red-ish to almost a pink.

I like it

My buddy that works for Morissdampers was anodising some 944 camber plates that they make,
and he was kind enough to throw it into the batch for me ( FREE )

Not really I think it's more pinkish/burgundy if anything? I dig it! It's not too rice (which is what i was not going for) and it's still so what classy.

That is not a 944 plate, thats for a toyota st-165...... but you get the drift....

Looks pretty cool, i much rather anodising as opposed to powder coatings.
So Luke, now you're pinkish purpley (burgandy) and gray under the hood as well as out eh..?

Cheers

Luke...thats cool stuff! I like it. Does morris dampers make anything for an ST185 celica? I have one and am having trouble finding *any* stiffer than stock rear shocks. Fronts are easy to find, rears are not. Oh...here is my powdercoated manifold:

its metal gray...kind of a gunmetal type color. Anybody else want to show their refinished manifolds?

Ribs,

ironically I think they just spec'ed out a st185? I might be mistaken but you should check them out. They are really great guys

Sharp manifold btw. I think their are only a couple of us that dont have the dirty natural finish on them.

Thumbs up

Luke,
It looks good.

I like the G4/G5 on the mouse pad. Now, that's some heavy coporate iron.
