Default 928 motorsports supercharger on an S2

Has anybody installed one of 928motorsports superchargers on a 90 944 S2. If so how hard is it to install and was it worth the 5K they are asking. Also how much will it impair reliability and durability.

There is a huge thread on this supercharger in the 968 specific forum.

The kit started off as a 968 kit then a few people asked for an S2 version. I think at least one S2 owner has one.

On the 968, it adds a lot of power and installs cleanly and easily, so I imagine it's the same for the S2! Email Carl at 928motorsports and ask him about it directly, he's straight up and knowledgeable.

I have this blower kit on my blue 968. It's great. I think the S2 that has one is a 968 motor swap so it has the MAF that works well with the kit. I do not know how well the kit would work with an AFM.

An issue with the kit on an S2 is the bar that connects the headlights. This bar is in the way and would have to be eliminated.
