do these games accurately represent the driving of a 944? so is it completely like driving a 944 on a track in terms of handling and braking and other characteristics????

If your looking for a realistic game, then you should try GTR Evolution http://www.gtr-evolution.com/ This is much more a simulation rather then just a game. Far less cars, but much more focused on driving dynamics. GT5 is amazing, but this game is far more realistic, and if you put it with Logitech G25 (I think the new one is the G27) wheel (has a clutch, 6 speed shifter/paddel shift, real leather wheel) and you have one helluva racing simulation.
So now we have to wait till 2011 for this freekin game... damn, how many more times can I play the prologue?

the way it looks forza will be on number 4 before gt has number 5 out.
i challenge you people to figure out which porsche's are missing from that list. not just 87 vs. 88 951. only one i really see is 953.

The Forza 3 model of the 944 Turbo (a Euro '89 Turbo) is pretty sound. I used it to establish how wide my front tires should be, and I found it quite believable. It isn't a simulator, but with a wheel (which I think is required for any of these games) it is realistic enough to really get me involved in the racing.

The 944 S2 isn't there. I guess it got left out because of the similarity to the 968, but I think it's an important 944. I don't see a 73 2.8L RSR either, I also don't see the Boxster Spyder (maybe to new?) There isn't a 964 RS America, or 964 RS, hmm... what else... There are other variations missing, but those seem to be important models.

Im there and so is my driving force pro, i'd love to drop the coin on a g27 and build a rig with the spare 944 passenger seat ive got but i just don't have the room for it.
