Has anyone on RL installed a crank scraper? What were the results? Thanks

I installed a little more than just the scraper. It is early to tell if it made a difference or not. It has not changed anything that I can measure or see.

What kind of results you mean?

Does it run more smooth, does it rev quicker? What is the main benefit of installing a crank scraper? Reliability? I'm just trying to become educated on this subject.

Crank scraper and oil pan baffle should increase reliability.

Best solution for reliability would be dry sump system.

In previous post you find a link to the manufacturer site that suggest what crank scraper should do.
It should keep the oil in the oil pan and reduce oil "splashing".

You do not need scraper for street use.

I'm putting one in my 968 engine rebuild.
