Default MAF Flow measurement?

Anybody know of a published measurement of the flow characteristics for the 86 951 AFM (barn door)?

I found one for a V8 mustang (http://www.dainst.com/info/maf/ford_mustang_maf.html), and when I fit the data (Voltage Vs. Flow (kg/hr)), the fit is a perfect third order polynomial. Makes me wonder if a single parameter fit (i.e. the 5V output) could match a MAF, assuming the MAF doesn't clip. Are they all third order? It thats a fundamental, then the first generation of MAFs that had 5V outputs should be a question of finding one with a similar curve. Its not like my chipped engine with the 3 bar fuel pressure regulator is still a good match to AFM pot.

Comments?
