Ok I have a dumb question, besides the engine what else comes on when you start the engine? I'm having an issue where all my gauges stopped working also the lights in the gauge for the exception of the batt warn light which comes on when the key is in the ambient lights which comes on when when u turn on the lights and the turn signal lights work. Also the sunroof does not open. Although I can still remove it when the key is in the on but not started position. The radio works fine. this coMes and goes when taking a corner fast. But mostly doesn't work. All fuses are good and there's no loose wires that I've found I'm starting to think it may be the ingnition switch or something connected. Any ideas?

 

if the ignition switch wasn't connected, the engine would never start

for...idiotic answer. everything is on when ignition is on. cause....everything is supposed to be on when you're driving

 

But is everything connected on the same wire?

 

of course not, that's why you have seperate fuses for each subsystem

 

But back to the question what turns on when the car is started not what is on when the car starts.
