Got my clutch "unstuck". I put the car in gear, both reverse and 1st a few times with the cluth engage and tried to start the car. Pretty soon I heard a little noise like something broke loose and not it works fine. Works fine in the garage anyhow, ready to for a drive and will ubdate.

Went on the test drive and it is working perfect. It was really discouraging to think a perfectly working clutch could go bad sitting in the garage. The car only has about 80K on the clutch has always felt like brand new. What a relief to think I will not have to do a clutch job for now. Front motor service is what it really needs.

Thanks for the help Peanut, just wanted to make sure everything was good before we declared total victory. What do you think happened, was is just the humidity or some water up in there and it just rusted shut for a few days. I sprayed it with lubricant and will do that again soon. Is that a good idea?
