Default Paint prep question.

I have a 951 rear valance It's in nice shap but has some distress cracks in the paint. What or how should I prep this for the new paint?

Can I use fiberglass to patch my front air dam?

The cracked paint will need to be removed and that area coated in a primer to build the surface back up.

Are you going to be painting it yourself or have a shop do it?

Im wanted to do the prep work and let the shop paint it. So can I sand it down and prime it? do I need a certain type of primer?

PolyPrimer works good over fiberglass and most plastic body fillers.
