David~ it takes an angry mind and a night of signing up for free daily offers via email, which will then sell his address to many more. I have seen people have to change there aol names because of the sheer amount of response they get. ahhh, spam wars.

Anyone who calls a 951 a VW has obviously never sat in an SC or 3.2L. Christ - they even smell the same.
Dont let people like this bother you. If anyone with an SC or Carrera gives you any lip, inform them you'd be more than happy to put some money where their mouth is.
Depress throttle, repeat as necessary.

When Porsche first came out with the 400 h/p tt. I came upon one on 680. New car. No plates, yet. The guy was in a racey mood. I reached in the glove box, turned boost dial to high and pulled him much faster than I had expected. That was a 2.5L motor. I know there are many tt's faster than mine. Not stock ones. I had a N/A 944. Great car. Last I heard there was 250,000 miles on the original motor. You ever notice how may 911's have rear end damage after the driver entered a turn too fast? I did the same in my N/A 944, did not lift entirely off the gas, but prayed out loud. All 4 tires drifted out at the same rate. Black marks on the road. No contact. Very forgiving. I try not to do that anymore. It's nice to know you have a cushion and not a wreck.

Speaking of 944 bashing...
Even the media has got on to 924 bashing...watched Autoweek last night on Speed channel and they reviewed the Cayenne...said something about people thinking the Cayenne affected Porsche reputation as a sports car specialist....and then he pointed out the 924 (oh dear!)
Anyone catch that

944/951/924S we have them all. I actually bought mine in PR before relocating to Orlando, FL. If I am not mistaken, Porsche in PR sells more Porsches than in all Latin America combined.
I would not pay any attention to that clown. He sure does not know what he is missing. F#$% him!

Let's try this a third time...
Travis...
That fellow is just jealous because the only way he can get his engine in front is when trying to pass a 944 in a turn!
I've often wondered what rear engine handling would be like... Perhaps putting 300 pounds of cat litter in the back of my "S" and deflating one rear tire? OOOOOOOOO! such "Spirited" handling!
And as one of our wags observed... "what's he doing looking for parts?". Probably trying to solve his rust problems with an aftermarked meyers manx body.
Now for our 911 Brothers and Sisters...
If you pronounce Porsche with one syllable...
Nya, Nya!
If you pronounce Porsche with two syllables...
The above was just tongue in cheek!
Jim 1987 944S (Superior in every way and the absolute pinacle of sports car engineering!)
(I just have to keep telling myself that as I write all these checks!!!) <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />
