Post I want to see your wheels.

Please post some pics of your rims.
I am considering getting new wheels. I would just like to see all the wheels out there. I used to be pretty fond of the turbo twists in chrome, as I have a vlack car and i think that chrome wheels look great on black. But I am open to many different options now, because I have sen so many other great rims. Does anyonehave 3 piece twists with a polished lip and a silver center. Also what types of things should I look for in rims and what kinda of prices to expect. TIA

They're just 16's, and they're the 968 5-spokes, but they give my car an updated, yet period correct look, IMHO:

Oh yeah, they can be had for around $100.00 a wheel..

17" ATP Rivas.... you'll need to have the offset cut for it.

Sami... wanna trade wheels? Great to hear the insurance is cashing in here and fixing the car. It would have been a shame to see that car go to the scrap pile.

Perry I have seen similar rims on ebay and I really liked them. I wish I could see them on a black 951. Here are the ones on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2413509324&category=33748, they have a few of them in 17 18 19.
Great pics guys, keep em comin'

That's them, but they are NOT OEM wheels. If anyone is interested, I would e-mail or call to be sure they have our offset. I got mine direct from ATP and they said they would no longer make the offset unless it was special order.

I do know you can buy the rims without the bolt holes drilled and no offset machiened. (so a wheel shop can make any offset/pattern you want)

Just a heads up. Hate to see someone drop $1500 on wheels and not have the right offset.

On your 86 951 the early offset Fuchs should work. I've always liked polished Fuchs on a black Porsche.

Here is an example of what different wheels look like on the same car (1985.5 w/early offset):

With Fuchs:

And with C2's (in Graphite):
