As the title states besides the removable badge panel, suspension ect.. are there any structural difference between an N/A and a turbo?

The Turbo S had additional bracing at the front of the frame, that's about it.

There are some additional brackets/studs on the turbo tubs. However it unclear if these are also on later model NA tubs. In 944 spec we tend to fine even stripped the later model NA tubs are heaver than the early ones. The thought is the steel is thicker or has more layers in critical spots. The idea is maybe they make the later tubs stiffer for the turbo cars and just used the same tub for the NA cars.

That however is speculation.

There are some differences in the support structure around the radiator between early and late cars and the nose panel is spot welded on the earlies, screwed on for lates.

85.5 and later 944 tubs are the same as 951 tubs (non-S).
