Default Early Fuch, Late 944

I’ve got a 1988 944 NA race car. The car is heavily modified and runs SCCA ITS, as well as NASA GTS1. It’s fairly low (about 4.5inches at the rocker panels) and has -3.5 camber front and -2 rear.

Currently, I’m running 52ET phone dials with a 21mm spacer front and 24mm spacer in the rear with plenty of clearance.

Now for the big question: I know that 23ET, 7x15 fuchs will fit on the front with room to spare. Will 11ET 8x15 fuchs fit the rear? I put on a set of rims (without tires) and it looks really close and might worked with rolled fenders.
Anyone else given this a go?

Thanks,
Christian

Your car is a 1988 with early offset suspension?

No!

A friend tried this lasy year on his 88 944 spec car to run GTS1. It just did not work. The 15x7's will fit, but not the 8's.

That's what I was afraid of. The car is a late model with late suspension (i.e.: '88 suspension on an '88 car). I tried a set of rims and it looks close, but I think even after rolling the lips, the tire will interfer.

Thanks,
Christian
