You might want to drop in at the NNJR meeting May 12th (you are a PCA member aren't you?) and ask someone that's run the M030 968 bar with early steel arms about it.

I ended up boring out the standard early bushings and the bar eventually fit in. I've have no problems with this setup for 3/4 a year of autocross, 3 track events, and daily driving.
