Post Fuel/Air ratio tuning

While i was detailing my engine the other day i pulled one of my spark plugs. it was slightly wet, and smelled strongly of gas.....i am assuming my mixture is probably a little rich. is it tough to tune the mixture on a 944? a buddy of mine has a DeLorean, with his he can just turn a screw, and listen to the engine.....perfect.
