Post Potenza RE750 any comments?

Just curious of any one has had any experience with the Potenza RE750s. I am looking for new tires for my daily driver (not the P-car) and can not seem to find too much information on these tires.

They just came out with the 750's to replace the 730 Gen 2's, that replaced the RE-730's.

They are a bit harder compound than the 730's, they do not have the noise issue that the 730's did, and they carry a "W" speed rating. The tred design changed as well.

Since they are new, I have not heard much about the long term performance, but off the shelf comments seem to be on par with the 730's, some of the best tires ever!

It looks like they have a better tread ware rating than the 730s. I currently have the 730s on my daily driver and the 951 (they have been great tires). I was mainly looking for something similar to the comparison that you mentioned with the 730.

Considering price and my experience with the 730, I think this will be my replacement choice.

Better treadwear because of the harder compound, but the tradeoff is that they will not be as sticky until they are up to a good temp.

Other than that, they should ride and perform the same without the noise.

Also, the price is very nice!

Gotta chime in here...I didn't know about the 750s, but I love my 730s. I would definately look into the 750s. Good luck.

If they are better than my new 730 Gen2's, they will make a great daily driver tire. Road noise on the 730s & the Gen2's are a bit excessive, but they feel great with better than average treadware expectancy.
