Post TURBO NEEDED!!!

I plan on putting my engine together between March 22nd and the 31st. I still need a turbo. Any good condition turbo k26/6 or better will do. I do not have much to spend on it since I put all of my money into the engine. There is no reason for me to spend a ton on a turbo now since I will be upgradeing it later. If anyone knows of a shop that could rebuild a k26/6 in the northern Va area that would be great too. Thanks

I'll know later this week after I get done with all of this insurance BS if I am going to have the money for a bigger turbo. My turbo has performed flawlessly since I have had my car, there is no play in the shaft, etc. If I do end up with a bigger turbo, I'll sell you mine cheap, or let you rent it until you get a bigger turbo for a case of beer. You can also turn in your old turbo and get a used K26/8 from garrity for $300...its on this page: http://garrity.986.org/maintenance.htm?aspxerrorpath=/ .

Oh yeah...I have spring break the same time you do, so unless I end up going to florida or something strange (unlikely...I'm trying to dump all of my money into my car) I'll definitely come by and check out your project, and maybe give you a hand.

Alan's turbo is nice. Saw it myself. Would be a sweet upgrade! (Might as well while you are in there )

Otherwise, I would invest in the turbo you want now. You really don't want to get back in there again anytime soon... do you?

I just laid down over 4k for this motor. I would love to throw on the turbo I want right now along with injectors, exhaust,tech3, fuel presure reg.,ect....! I just don't have the money. Garrity dosn't have anymore k26/8's so I think I am just going to have him rebuild my k26/6 for $185. That is if I can't get a better turbo for $300 or less. Thanks all!
