Default more throttle= slower 944S?

I am still having an acceleration problem on my 1987 944S-68K miles. It seems to be the fastest when the throttle is about 1/4 of the way floored. Anything past that is slower acceleration. I used clarks garage to test the tps and it passed. I need some help checking some stuff. Please give me some pointers on stuff to check.
Thanks In Advance Rennlist!!!

Throttle position sensor and AFM. There are testing procedures for both on Clark's Garage.
