ironically, when i started to tweak my car, it worked perfectly. reciently fit started to hit the shan with my eighteen year old car. no bigie, but i need to get some stuff fixed. any help would begreatly appreciated. thanks

to perfectly honest, i'm in yuma right now, typing on my laptop in a hotel.
i'm going to live in phoenix (i guess i should have mentioned that) and i'm moving into my apartment tomorrow. i just came down from washington.
i've got a '84 kalihari metalic 944. it's been my daily driver for over a year, and has proven to be very reliable. the trip down though was not such a good time.
i love these little graemlins by the way

Technodyne would be my first choice! Chris Cervelli is one of the most knolegeable in the business. He is the guy that did Roberto's 968 engine/transmition/ABS conversion. And if your into racing, he is definitly the guy to go to.
If you are looking for parts, check out 20th Street Auto (one of my favorite places to go and browse around). They have a pretty large invintory of salveged 944's.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Here is link to the local PCA website.
There is probably a good place to meet and talk with other 944 and Porsche guys.
Most can help with advice about local shops and parts sources. Some can probably also help out with advice on DIY maintence.
