Talking Added to the stable! (ot)

Hooray!!! I just bought 8 new cars. In addition to:

Porsche 911 GT1 Champion Racing
Porsche GT3
Porsche 928
Ferrari 333sp
Ferrari 328
Ferrari 360 Modena
Ferrari F40
Mercedes DTM racer
Lotus M250
Jaguar xj220

I bought:

Another Ferrari 333sp (in red this time)
Ferrari 550 Maranello
Ferrari 348tb
Ferrari 512M
Ferrari 355 Challenge
Ferrari 456GT
Chevy Corvette softop
BMW 850i

Oh yeah, did I mention this was a hotwheels collection?? VROOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!

ps: the reason that I have so many darn Ferraris is attributed to the fact that hotwheels has chosen to produce every f-ing Ferrari they can think of, and I have only found 3(!!!) Porsches. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. Stupid hotwheels are addictive.

well AutoArt makes a 1:18 scale Murcielago in that color.. you can get it at any of the good online die cast places, for instance, www.exoticar.com has em for $50.. expensive yes, but all AutoArt models are ~50 The one I got is a Maisto model, only $15 .. supposedly the quality isnt as good, but I like em, oh and they do make an Orange one too.. but its hard to find (theres a couple on ebay for $30). Heres a pic of the AutoArt ones:

interesting how the yellow ones look fairly orange
anyway have fun!

Too bad you don't live near Boston as Exoticar had one of their semi-annual "tent" sales. They open up the warehouse (in Avon, MA) and have everything on sale. I was able to pic up this 1/18th: to go with the Champion GT1 with the same paint scheme. Made by UT (maker of AutoArt, but lower price line) it is nicely detailed and best of all paid $20 instead of the $30.

Cheers,
