Wink KC Area --Chassis Dyno Day?

Hey-
Any Kansas City Area guy's up for a day at the Dyno? A friend of mine has a race shop with a Dyno-Jet Chassis Dyno, and he said he would work us a special price if we get a group. We could even do it on a Saturday.

Let me know if you are interested, and I'll schedule it up... <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

What's all involved with something like that? Plus how many bones would that run?

Sorry Steve, he doesn't have the provisions for your all-wheel-drive car, the green monster needs to stay at home.

I'll check the "deal", and repost. Basically we would show up at his shop on Merriam Dr. in the morning, and anyone who wants can strap the car down-and see real HP figures--no estimates.

It's great to do some tuning.

Hey Steve II, did you ever do that cup car clutch? My cost on a dual friction Centerforce is $345.10 for the kit...I might be next in line.

O.K. as I was talking to him he was telling me about the modified F-40 he was playing with, JEALOUS!!!

Here's the deal, if we want to get some other guy's in (I am going to e-mail Rudy), we can rent a day, or a half day on the dyno for tuning. Base line runs are a set price if we just want to do that $40 I think.

o.k. I think it is going to be Rudy, Steve, Steve, and me...unless someone else wants to go. Triscadek-Tulsa is a 4 hour jaunt in a minivan-I expect you'll make it in 2--I'll even buy your lunch for the long haul. We are going to do a 1/2 day and split the cost. I think the Steve's are going to do some tuning.

Anyone else chime in now-even if you don't want to dyno your car-it would probably be a good time...

I'll post the schedule.

Ben, I'd like to attend the dyno session even though mine isn't healthy yet.

I'd be interested in coming down and giving you a hand when you do the clutch.

Got the 993 wheels on and they look awesome.

Guys, I would like to join in on that. Sounds like I could learn a thing or two about my 924S. I am 177 miles north of KC. I am new at this tech stuff and sure could use the good experience. What can I get out of it? Thx D
