Happens to a lot of people...depends on the traffic of the site and the knowledge of people currently on. If you post in a low traffic period (early morning/afternoon), then it could get bumped down and when traffic picks up, it's low on the list. Dont' take offense, happens to me some too (alhtough I think I did offend with my Chevy idea, what was I thinking?). <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

I understand the the traffic issue. A while back when I first got on the forum, I questioned the behavior of some listers slamming others.So I inquired to see if they were friends or foes.That prompted a member to berate them for their antics.I wasn't certain this was all in fun or for real! But I certainally wasn't going to post a pic and get slammed if it were for real! I am all for fun and jesting for sure! But since that time,I post and watch all the other posts get replies and I get zip! And I know my posts aren't stupid like some of I have seen. I don't take it personally, how can I,no one knows me! Just became a member to enhance my Porsche and knowledge,but I am also one who doesn't waste my time or others, so I am becoming resistant to posting as a result!....Thx for the replies gents! As to flame wars, they can get a bit out of hand. It's just easier, to call someone names when they're not in front of you. This was going on on email lists long before the web existed. Oi. I'm old.

There is an ignore list you can create, but I have no idea how many people actually use it or what it does. I doubt many do.

Maybe your posts are boring? Try to come up with something good. I know my post about my blocked battery compartment drain didn't exactly light up the board, I got one reponse. You never know...

And in the end, who gives a ****?

No one hates you. I am sorry if no one responded to your post. Sometimes if I don't know the answer I just don't respond, so maybe that was the problem. Instead of responding with "sorry don't know" - although maybe we should do that to bump it to the top? With all these OT posts and the like, sometimes legitimate posts (aren't they all?) get pushed to the bottom.

WHOA!!! My posting was merely to see if I had offended any lister by questioning the fighting going on at that time! When one is new to a forum and see another lister say their picture made them look like a lesbian you have to determine if it is in JEST or for real! I never said any one HATED me or the like! So after that posting is when I was in the process of learning about P cars and all the good and bad stuff that goes with it and thought maybe I angered some or was the thought of as a "squealer per say" which would create a negative opinion to that person. A rat I am not!!!Just trying to get a sense of what's real and fun and games PERIOD! As far as the comment from GEO goes, where have I emulated the two you spoke of???? Those are the very same users I was questioning in the first place! And I know for damn sure my posts and behavior is no where close to them! And I am certainally not on here just to get replies. Answers to my questions and concerns about my Porsche is all I joined the list for! So if I had offended or made a comment that gave one a attitude,I wanted to get an apology out if needed so I could get some answers to questions I have.It's that freakin simple!Atleast I am MAN enough to ask if I pissed someone off or alienated myself because of my inexperience on the Rennlist and be able to stand up and take it!For awhile I thought it was because I drive the "bottom of the food chain" 924S,but I did rule that out for the most part." Wow dgz924s, sorry you're upset. As an innocent third party, when I read GEO's post I just thought he was teasing. You know, saying if you don't want people to hate you don't act like Craig or AMAF. From what I read, he's not accusing you of emulating them. He's just making what the comedians call a "call-back." To me, his little ROFLMAO greamlin indicates he's not serious. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not affiliated with GEO. It just seems that either Craig or AMAF get brought up in about 10% of the posts here, and it's always in some sort of sarcastic/negative light. Again, I didn't think he was accusing you.

As far as an unanswered post goes, I too just don't post if I don't know the answer. Maybe in the future when I see one at the bottom of the list I'll do a "bump" for a fellow lister sometime. Heck, the reply will probably benefit me sometime too!!!

First off, the 924S is not the bottom of the food chain. Check my sig, there's a very nice one sitting next to the 951 in my garage.

Second, I think you may have incorrectly read Geo's post - please reread. I personally know Geo and that was NOT what he was saying.
