ha, my cat doesn't have a name either, poor thing. i call my car "the 44" despite the fact that i own an audi 200 that i also call "the 44" (built on the audi type44 chassis)... i gave up on that scheme and just say audi and porsche now

The 44 is named Alexis. Although i never call her that. More of an official thing. My current motorcycle is Jade, and my past one was Angel. I chose Angle because she was my first bike, and i always caught myself saying "Angel, don't fail me now!!!"

mike/ERAU944:
your're right for a 964, but it's always nice to have the same feeling of the same car going ***** out (turbo, baby) and you know it's not an NA.
driving one helps (which i have not done 964-style).
i personally think a good collection consists of a cabrio, an na and a turbo. life is too short!

Some of my friends think I'm crazy, but any car that I'm fond of gets a name. Actually, any car that gives me too much grief gets a name too...for example, the mark I MR2 I used to have was usually refered to as "filthy *****." But, my black 968 coupe is Ashley. She's a good girl, but has a wild side once you get her going. My brown 89 Toyota 4X4 is Rebecca, but she prefers Becky. I usually drive her, but Ashley knows that Becky and I are just friends. Unfortunately, Becky suffered some trauma lately, and will be retiring. I'm picking up a 99 Tacoma 4x4 soon, and I'm feeling like she should be "Kelly."
Yeah...sounds pretty crazy I guess.

I got my 924S when my daughter was 2 years old. She was just learning to speak and I was of course trying to teach her to say "Porsche". It never did come out right...she always said "Porshee". That name has just stuck. As a matter of fact I just ordered my new tags "PORSHEE". I guess it's female...definately acts like it sometimes!

Well my daughter just calls the car "The Race Car"
My nick is the Silver Bullet for multiple reasons. I'll let you all ponder that one for a while

Here are a few:
The famous Huntley Racing 'Zebra' though it's more of a Shaka Zulu if you ask me. Believe it or not this is a factory 'ART CAR' painted by Porsche.
The Supercharged 944 in the Center of this pic is simply the Huntley Racing 'Red Car', I know basic but to the point. Its owned by my good friend Neal Wright and built, supported and maintained by Huntley Racing.
The HSR legal Huntley Racing 914/6 in this pic is newly named the 'Mighty Mouse'!! She has only 2.0 ltrs to her but is the fastest HSR car by over 10 full seconds at places like California Speedway! She loves to beat up on big displacement motored cars hence her name. She makes 130 HP per liter normally aspirated with carbs (historic legal set-up!!).
We need help with this one. She is a tube framed mid-engine Boxster running a Huntley Racing built 3.6 ltr motor. She is getting painted by a well-known artist in the coming months once we finish de-bugging her body and chassis. For now she is just the 'Boxster'. Any pre-paint ideas guys? She is light, powerful and wickedly fast.

There is no way we can suggest a name pre-paint.
I mean what if we named it Pinkie and you then painted it blue!?!?!?
P.S. I want Shaka Zulu (Zebra definitely doesn't fit)
